Below, you will find a series of smaller, technical news stories, all in one place.
This season, we have updated our ladders with and without safety cages, so that they now comply with the DS/EN ISO 14122-4:2016 standard. The result is a much simpler construction that is less wind sensitive. We would like to use this occasion to highlight the rules regarding resting platforms:
The new ladders with safety cages cannot be combined with existing ladders, but if needed, we still have a small stock of the previous model.
We have updated the gear on our SE25 and SE40 elevators with gear engine sizes of 3-7,5 kW. Instead of a parallel shaft gear unit, they now have a helical-bevel gear unit. The update brings the centre of gravity closer to the elevator which increases its stability. We use a Varvel helical-bevel gear unit for the elevators, and that has the following benefits:
To optimise the grain flow at the outlet of our R60 cleaners, the outlet has been changed from Ø200 to Ø250. This increases the speed and thus the basis for reaching 60t./hour.
In the coming season, we will update all our TLR aeration fans up to and including 7,5 kW. The construction will be simplified so a flange motor is mounted on the side plate of the fan instead of a foot motor on a motor console. The benefit is a simpler design, but several benefits remain the same:
