As part of our efforts towards the green transition and extended producer responsibility, SOBY is a member of VANA – a Danish organisation that provides guidance and support to help Danish companies comply with EU-regulations on producer responsibility.
SOBY’s own environmental stations
In collaboration with VANA, we have gained a clearer overview of where we can strengthen our handling of waste and residual materials. One of the initiatives is the establishment of our own environmental stations, where packaging and residual materials are sorted correctly on site.
Here, materials are divided into relevant waste fractions to ensure proper handling and disposal. This initiative gives us a better overview of our waste streams and helps ensure that we comply with requirements for correct sorting and documentation.
Part of our ESG work
Our work with producer responsibility and waste management is part of our broader focus on ESG – environmental, social and governance practices. By combining internal initiatives such as our environmental stations with collaborations with organisations like VANA, we can strengthen our environmental efforts while contributing to a more responsible value chain.
Our goal is to ensure a robust and transparent approach to environmental management, where we both comply with regulations and continue developing our company in a more sustainable direction.
