New versions offer improved flow and higher operational reliability
We have taken our bucket elevators SK-6080 og SK-100/120 to the next level with a series of upgrades that increase flow, protect crops, and make everyday work easier for those handling service and maintenance. Here’s an overview of the most important updates — and why they make a difference in daily operation.
Optimized flow and gentle handling
- Smoother discharge, reduced wear, and a flow that follows the material’s natural movement.
- The head has been raised to allow space for gravity discharge.
(This enables lower belt speeds – an advantage for crops that require gentle handling.)
- The discharge angle has been increased for better handling of sticky materials, e.g., wet corn.
Stronger construction and improved assembly
- The updated design is prepared for belt misalignment monitoring.
- Option for bevel gear motor.
- The gear assembly has been upgraded to enhance safety.
- Multiple discharge options, including an elevated HD discharge.
Easier inspection and service
- Inspection and cleaning hatches have been redesigned for better access.
- The cleaning hatch now includes a folded edge for improved grip.
- A new two-piece top allows servicing of the drive pulleys by removing only half of the top, and central components can be lifted straight upwards.
- Easy conversion between right- and left-mounted gear motors.
Switch to steel bearings for increased reliability
- New steel bearings provide easier maintenance
- Stronger reinforcement for bearings and gear motor
- Reduced heat generation in the bearings, as they are isolated from the internal zone (relevant for ATEX).
