As part of our efforts to protect our business partners and our company from digital fraud, we have outlined how SOBY communicates about invoices and payments. We encourage you to read the guidelines below to help identify fraudulent requests and ensure secure business transactions.

Digital fraud attempts are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Cyber criminals use a range of methods to deceive businesses and individuals, making fraudulent requests appear legitimate.

Recently, the industry has seen a rise in fraud attempts involving fake invoices that are so convincingly designed that they can be difficult to distinguish from genuine communications.

How SOBY communicates about invoices and payments

When you receive an invoice or any payment-related communication from SOBY, you can expect that:

• We will never ask you to make a payment to a foreign bank account.
• Our bank account details will never be changed without prior communication.
• We always communicate through our usual and established channels.
• Payment deadlines will never be changed without prior communication and appropriate notice.
• We do not send messages that require immediate or urgent action.
• Invoices are issued during our regular business hours.
