Information obligation for Website, Customers and Employees. What you need to know about our processing of your personal data:

  • That SØBY A/S is responsible for the processing of the personal data that we receive from you.

  • That the purpose of processing your personal data is to deliver our goods or services to you and your company, as well as to keep you informed about news, features and product options, cf. GDPR Article 5, paragraph 1 b.
  • That the legal basis (authority) for us to process your personal data is your consent, see Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and/or the agreement/contract/order entered into, see Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, and/or legislation, see Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, and/or for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party (unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data override this, in particular where the data subject is a child) see Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The legitimate interests that justify the processing are marketing of new services/products.
  • That the personal category of the data we store is general (e.g. name, address), confidential (e.g. social security number) and/or sensitive/special personal data (e.g. health data).
  • That we disclose or transfer your personal data to external recipients, including our data processor, advisors and any partners necessary for the task. 
  • That some of our data processors may be located outside the EU/EEA, but all with a legal basis for transfer.
  • That we have received the personal data from you and possibly from publicly available sources.
  • That we store your personal data for as long as it is legal in relation to the Danish Accounting Act, consent rules, rules of limitations and/or other legislation.
  • That we do not use personal profiling to make automated decisions that may significantly affect the rights and freedoms of the individual.

 

You have various rights under the GDPR in relation to our processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us.

  • You have the right to access and rectification, i.e. you can view all your data entered on our platform at any time and correct/update the information.
  • You have the right to request deletion, i.e. you can have your personal data deleted, unless we deem it necessary to keep it for a longer period for accounting or legal reasons. The data will be deleted at the latest when any property rights have become time-barred.
  • You have the right to restrict processing, i.e. you can control any restriction of processing.
  • You have the right to object, i.e. in certain cases you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
  • You have the right to have your information transferred (data portability). This means that you can retrieve or have the information sent to you at any time.
  • You can read more about your rights in the Danish Data Protection Agency's guidance on the rights of data subjects, which you can find at www.datatilsynet.dk.
