In order to manage the IT systems, in which we process your personal information, we have collaborated with some external parties, which as such will be able to get access to your data. Søby usually retains your personal information for up to 6 years in accordance with the Accounting Act. However, some information will be retained for a longer period, if required by law, for example for order history or due to pending legal cases.

  • The right to gain access to your personal information.
  • The right to get incorrect personal information corrected.
  • The right to have your personal information deleted.


All the above rights are handled manually upon request to Søby.


We can reject requests that are unfairly repetitive, require disproportionate technical intervention (e.g. developing a new system or changing existing practices), affecting the protection of other people's personal information or something that will be extremely impractical (e.g. requests for information found as backups).


If we can correct information, we will of course do this for free unless it requires disproportionate effort.


We strive to maintain our systems in a way that protects information from incorrect or harmful destruction. Therefore, when we delete your personal information from our systems, we may not always be able to delete corresponding copies from our backup systems immediately.
